I couldn't get it to connect with my phone. Entered it exactly as shown, is there something I could possibly be doing wrong?

I had trouble with this as well. Read that you should call at&t to "enable" multimedia messaging. The guy didn't give me a hard time about it. Saw that there was a hold on that function. I've heard other people having to make up a story, such as sometimes using another phone (replacing the sim) to send MMS messages... so they enabled it for them.

Hey guys, i just called at&t today and told them to add my mms messaging by a little white lie, and they did.

I have the settings USA At&t mms settings: mmsc.cingular.com 066.209.011.032

I still am not able to send out MMS messages. I keep getting this "failed to send MMS: Possible incorrect mmsc setting. Unexpected http response (HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden)"

Does anyone Know if i also have to put in the APN settings with a username and password as well?

Any bit of info will help. Thanks

The problem for iPhone Users with at&t is not the settings, they are correct and they work. The problem is a program that at&t runs called snooper. when you signed up for the iPhone package with at&t this program disables mms messaging and media net. Even if you have the unlimited text package. The manager I spoke to at at&t fixed it but then 2-3 hours later is was deactivated again. This was on Saturday. So I am gonna call tomorrow to try again. Its not right that at&t has deactivated this for my sim card when I pay for the package that covers up to 5 phones on my account. I am thinking about starting a petition. This should be illegal for them to do.....

let me know when this petition. starts or if it started already. i'll have all my friends and clients sign it.

but what about the username and password? i need them to right?
  • kingpin · 1 year ago
i called att and was told if you reboot your account with them the mms setting will be completly gone. so people with the old account will more likely to get it working. i tryed it with my blackberry sim and it worked. the blackberry package carries the mms settings.
